Sponsorship – Barcamp London
BarcampLondon has a track record of staging quality events with quality sponsors, and enthusiastic attendees.
Within the London tech community, comprising thousands of geeks, hackers and developers, we have a reputation for running inspirational events which span education, problem solving, coding, sysadmin, together with a bit of special interest and maker space stuff.
A barcamp is a participatory unconference with a formal start and a formal end, and whole variety of user curated sessions in the middle. It works like this . . . it’s a conference . . . but it’s not really a conference . . . it’s an unconference. It’s a bunch of geeky people talking about their geeky passions. And until the proceedings get underway, nobody really knows what the core content is going to look like.
Who’s who?
There are certain to be some software developers, web site designers, infosec experts, makerspace enthusiasts, photography buffs, journalists, network engineers, systems administrators, teachers, cyclists, gamers, civil servants, freelancers, students and anybody involved in IT (in its widest sense). And others! Everybody is welcome. And if Tom, Dick and Harry are there, you can be sure that they will be offering sessions covering JavaScript, or password hacking, or role playing games. People love to talk about their passions. Sessions can be elementary, intermediate or advanced. The cards on the grid will tell you what you need to know.
It runs all day on Saturday 23 November 2024, in a modern state of the art sixth form college, with plenty of open social space and 7 break out rooms for sessions. Across the 7 concurrent streams there is scope for more than 60 sessions. The event is free for the delegates, and all costs are covered by sponsorship.
Gold Sponsor £1,500 plus VAT
The Gold sponsors make the event, they get headline billing and they have a major role at the start and the end of the event. This is the perfect way to engage your users and get them to engage with your brand. What is your organisation seeking to achieve? How does your community outreach system work? Do you want to connect directly with the right calibre people?
Silver Sponsor £1,000 plus VAT
Sponsor a meal! The event includes an elementary breakfast, an impressive lunchtime buffet, and hopefully an after party. Getting your name associated with any one of these will get people talking about your brand.
Bronze Sponsor at community rates
There are always other things (flip charts, Sharpies, Post it notes, lanyards, etc) which need to be covered. We welcome contributions from smaller concerns across the tech community. If you would like to be involved and cannot afford the mainstream sponsorship fees, touch base with us and share your ideas. We’ll label that Bronze sponsorship and give you some publicity.
